Riding from Cantù to Cantù, the Gran Fondo Il Lombardia tackles the historic climbs of Sormano and Ghisallo. Registration is still open
Almost everything is ready for the Gran Fondo Il Lombardia of Sunday 10 October. Today in the Sala 8 of the Chiostro Comunale in Cantù the final details have been revealed.
The race for amateurs will start and finish in Cantù, with the iconic climbs of Ghisallo and Sormano in between. The Gran Fondo will take place the day after ‘the classic of the fallen leaves’ while the race village will open its doors on Saturday for the collection of riders’ race packs.

Saturday 9 October
9.30 am: Collection of race numbers and new registrations for Gran Fondo Il Lombardia at the Village in Piazzale Corso Europa, Cantù (CO) near the municipal stadium
9.30 am: bike park opening
7.00 pm: Village, bike park closing and end of distribution of race numbers.
Sunday 10 October – The day of the event
From 6.30 am: starting grids open
7:30 am: Departure of the 4th edition of Enel Gran Fondo Il Lombardia, from Piazzale Corso Europa, Cantù (CO); Arrival at Piazza Garibaldi, Cantù (CO)
11.30am: bike park opening at the Village
11.30 am: Lunch Box collection at the Village
2.30 pm: time limit of the event
3.30 pm: Village and bike park closing.
